Keiko’s stunning brown and orange tabby coat certainly stands out in a crowd. She enjoys her cubby space and loves to be outside in the “cat run”.
Keiko came to the shelter in 2016 as a stray from the Crombie area. While she was being fed during her outdoor time, she did not have any human interaction or love. It was hard for her to adjust to indoor living; she was fostered by a loving person who really helped her. Since then she has settled into the shelter and being with the other cats.
Although she has come a long way since first coming to us, she is still very timid of people. When people go near, she will hiss or run away and sometimes scratch. She is looking for a home that will let her do her own thing and give her time to adjust. We would not recommend her in a how with small children.
