It’s been 11 days since my sisters and I came to this new place. So far, we seem to be OK. We have food and water and clean litter boxes. We have spent most of our time here under the couch- it’s where we feel safe. Our human seems nice, we know her from the shelter. She talks to us a lot, even though she can’t see us.
Last night, it was decided we would come out to explore more of our new space. Candy, of course, refuses to come out until Butterscotch and I get an idea of what we have around us. It went well! We found a box that shows many different humans on it. The Human asked us if we liked “TV”, this is the first time we’ve ever seen one! We found a room with a huge bowl full of water that seems to be a fun place to play and wash our paws.
And, we found the room where the human sleeps. Butterscotch checked to see if she was OK by swatting at her feet. Not sure what the problem was, but the human woke up saying some bad words! Oops. Butterscotch laughed about it for the rest of the night.
I got brave today and came out on my own. I’m not sure why, but this place seems scarier during the day. I didn’t stay out long and made sure to stay low to the ground.
I think we will come out again tonight.
Until next time… Reesy
